The mushing community is truly one of the most special communities in the world. After this year's race, 11 dedicated individuals stayed behind after the race passed through and spent four days tearing out and replacing the entire cabin floor of the Skwentna cabin. The crew rides in each year from Deshka Landing (near the Restart in Willow), pass through Yentna Station and on to Skewntna.
