This is SO much easier than piping straight onto a cake! By piping onto parchment or wax paper instead, you can freeze buttercream flowers for. 10 minutes until they're firm adn then pick them up and press them onto your cake. This way you can choose only your favourites to decorate your cake, instead of making mistakes on your cake and trying to scrape them off without damaging the cake. Tag someone you would make this cake for! #cakevideos #buttercreamcakes #cakedecoratingtips #buttercreamcake

The freezer is the biggest trick! Pipe the buttercream florals, freeze them, then stick the flowers wherever you want on the cake! They’ll stay on as long as you press them into the cake with a little dot of buttercream, and you won’t have to ruin your buttercream underneath if you need to adjust the flowers! Just work quickly 😉, your warm hands will heat up the frozen buttercream flowers if you’re not fast enough! My daisy cake here looks like it’s all dressed up for summertime 😍 Have you tri

This is how I pipe roses on to a flower nail and then transfer it to a cake or cupcake. You can also pipe and freeze them, and assemble them to the cakes. Piping roses are the most satisfying of all, do you like this? Both techniques are covered in our online school together with lots of other skills like palette knife painting, stained glass painting and more, that will truly make you a master in Buttercream Cake Art 🥰 For FREE sample tutorials from online school, check link in bio or DM me 💓

Pressing the floral buttercream onto the cake with a little bit of buttercream underneath will not ruin the flower. You can adjust the flowers by hand or toothpick if you needed to.Have you tried frozen technique yet? | Elyse Cream Cakes
