This project is proving to be very challenging: Develop a HPC / UHPC fiber reinforced mix to reduce the thickness of wet cast pieces from 4” to 1” while eliminating the steel and maintaining the required strength. We are utilizing the precaster’s existing materials (and Trinic’s admixtures) to keep the cost vs. wet cast about the same.
