This Cape Eagle owl has been in our care for four months now undergoing treatment for electrocution. Bad burns mean potential damage to the two tendons in the birds legs, namely the Flexor Digitorum Longus (goes to all the front toes), and the Flexor Hallucis Longus (goes to the back toes), which is where we focus the physiotherapy.
